Why ClearDefense
Yellow Jacket Control That Protects Your Yard Confidently
We are in a hurry to serve. Here's what that looks like.
We find the actual nest
We track flight paths back to the nest rather than just treating insects flying nearby.
Treated up to 30 feet
A 50-gallon power sprayer reaches the nest and key entry points up to 30 feet high.
Nest removal included
Yellow jacket nest removal is included on our standard plans.
30-day return visit
We return in 30 days to break the egg cycle, then keep you on a quarterly plan.
Our Process
Our process: Yellow Jacket Control done right
We check eaves and soffits for entry gaps, track flight paths back to the nest, and return in 30 days to break the egg cycle.
Inspect
We walk the yard and watch flight paths, check eaves, soffit gaps and siding seams, and look for small holes in bare soil that tell us the nest is close.
Defend the Whole Property
We treat the nest and main entry points with our 50-gallon power sprayer, then apply a barrier to eaves, overhangs, and window and door seals up to 30 feet high.
Verify Every Step
We text when we are on the way, log what we did, and email a digital report with results and next steps. Then we schedule our return visit.

Frequently asked questions
Yellow Jacket Control FAQs
How much does yellow jacket control cost?
Yellow jacket nest removal is included on ClearDefense Pest Control's standard plans, though pricing can shift if the nest is underground or inside a wall void, since locating it takes more time than an aerial nest. Larger colonies late in the season may also need extra attention.
What happens if yellow jackets come back after service?
If yellow jacket activity continues, ClearDefense Pest Control comes back and locates the nest again at no added cost. Because yellow jackets often nest underground or inside structures where the entry point is hard to see, activity can continue if the true nest location was missed.
How fast can you come out to my home for yellow jacket control?
New customers can often get a ClearDefense Pest Control technician out the same day or next day depending on local scheduling, and nests near trash cans or doorways usually get bumped up given how aggressively yellow jackets defend a food source. Colonies can hold thousands of workers by late season, so early treatment helps.
Do you offer free quotes for yellow jacket control?
Yes. Quotes from ClearDefense Pest Control are free with no strings attached. A technician checks ground burrows and wall voids for nest activity before pricing the visit.
What should I know about children and pets during yellow jacket control service?
Keep kids and pets away from trash cans, ground holes, and any wall vents where yellow jacket activity is seen, since disturbed colonies respond as a group rather than one insect at a time. ClearDefense Pest Control locates the actual nest rather than just treating insects flying nearby.
