Why ClearDefense
Hornet Control That Works Fast and Lasts Long
We are in a hurry to serve. Here's what that looks like.
Nest removal included
Hornet nest removal comes at no extra charge on our standard plans.
Treatment up to 30 feet
A power rig reaches nest sites high on eaves, decks and rooflines.
Same-day or next-day visits
A nest near a walkway or door usually moves your visit up.
A 30-day return visit
We come back in 30 days, then keep up with quarterly visits.
Our Process
Our process for hornet control that follows through
We check eaves, soffits, vents and entry gaps, treat hornet spots up to 30 feet high and clear active nests.
Inspect
We watch flight paths around eaves, soffit edges and high corners, and look for a gray, paper-like nest and fresh chew marks. We trace tight gaps at fascia seams and window and door trim.
Defend the Whole Property
We use a power rig to treat nest sites up to 30 feet high. We treat the nest itself and the nearby surfaces hornets land on, so the problem is hit at the source.
Verify Every Step
We text when we are on the way and send a digital report of what we did and what changed. We return in 30 days, then keep up with quarterly visits.

Hornet Control FAQs
What to know before we treat your hornet nest
How much does hornet control cost?
Hornet nest removal is included at no extra charge on ClearDefense Pest Control's standard plans, though a large aerial nest high in a tree or a hidden cavity nest can affect visit length. Bald-faced hornet nests tend to be bigger and take more time to fully treat.
What happens if hornets come back after my hornet control service?
If hornet activity returns between visits, ClearDefense Pest Control locates and treats the nest again at no added cost. Hornet colonies are typically bigger and more defensive than many wasp species, so a missed cavity nest can mean activity returns.
How fast can you come out to my home for hornet control?
New customers can often get a ClearDefense Pest Control technician out the same day or next day depending on local scheduling, and a nest near a walkway or door usually moves the visit up given how defensive a disturbed colony can be. Locating the actual nest is the key step before any treatment.
Do you offer free quotes for hornet control?
Yes. Quotes from ClearDefense Pest Control are free with no strings attached. A technician checks trees, eaves, and wall cavities for nests before pricing the visit.
What should I know about children and pets during hornet control?
Keep kids and pets well away from trees, eaves, or wall cavities with visible hornet activity, since a disturbed nest can prompt a fast, coordinated response from the whole colony. ClearDefense Pest Control treats the nest directly rather than just the insects flying around it.
